Mission Trip to Montrouis, Haiti Details

What: Come experience a life changing opportunity to make a difference in others lives! Our mission trip to Montrouis, Haiti is guided by Ray Thomas of Kennett Square, Pa (USA). Ray lived and ran a mission in Haiti for 10 years and has been traveling to Haiti for the purpose of helping for 35 years. He is fluent in the language of Creole and has great relationships with many local Haitians who are like family to him. Chris Raab, Asha Sahijwani and Lauren Waltz of Hope 4 Today will also join the travelers on the mission trip. They have experience working with the Haitians in many different capacities.

Details: We will be traveling to Port Au Prince International airport. From there we will be driving to Montrouis located in the middle of the western coast of Haiti. We will stay at a mission facility on the water. The days will be dedicated to helping with the construction of a secondary school in Ransanble, but we will also travel the area of Montrouis and St. Marc to visit our friends at nearby schools and orphanages. Asha will be teaching a yoga class each morning at our accommodations if you would like to join!

Flights: Please have passport that is at least 6 months before expiration. Flights will be out of Philadelphia International Airport. Other arrangements can be made from different cities, however the price of the trip may change depending on airfare costs.

Fundraising: Each traveler will be asked to raise $500 dollars in addition to the cost of the trip for the purpose of donating to the Ransanble School project. Thank you!!!
